ABOUT

who are we? | if you would like to check out one of our microchurches this is what you will most likely see…real and flawed people who want to learn more about Jesus and are in all different stages of their journey. Each microchurch is organically grown! Some have worship music with guitar, some drums, some with no music. Some have lots of young children, some with a bigger mix. As you choose to attend, you create change and growth. We all work together to learn more about putting Jesus first, loving and serving others, and encouraging each other in our journeys. We want people to know the love, joy, peace, and hope that only Jesus can give! Come and check out one of our microchurches or let us know if you want to start one in your area. As long as making disciples and following Jesus is the focus, it can be done in any style!

what’s making disciples all about? | a disciple is a follower of Jesus. Jesus commands us to follow him and to show others how to follow him. But many people find it difficult and challenging to follow Jesus in our culture, let alone share who he is with others. Making disciples is a lost art, so we have developed principles of disciple making that we teach and model. We see ourselves as starting a disciple making movement that will transform lives and ultimately result in many churches being planted!

why the name sojourn? | a sojourn is a temporary stay and this life is temporary. No one stays the same forever. We are all on some sort of spiritual sojourn.

without walls | by this we mean that we are a church where people can come from all sorts of backgrounds and experiences and discover Jesus. Rather than putting up walls which keep people away from God, we seek to tear them down. Jesus himself is our example as he consistently reached out to the unchurched of his day. Come as you are; but, in the spirit of sojourning, don’t stay as you are!
